We use Stihl mowers that give a good finish in most conditions.
For small lawns we use battery mowers that are quiet and efficient. Larger lawns are cut with a petrol mower.
The cut grass can be returned to your lawn as a mulch or added to your garden waste or compost heap. If required we can remove and dispose of your cut grass for a fee.
Areas of long or rough grass and sloping areas can be cut down with a line strimmer. After strimming the cut grass is usually left in place but can be collected and removed if required.
Areas of very thick long grass or other vegetation can be tackled with a brushcutter.
If your outside space has become overgrown we can tidy it up. We can cut back or remove shrubs and small trees and restore beds and areas of lawn.
We are not a specialised clearance firm so we do not deal with refuse, asbestos, knotweed or contaminated ground.
Traditional lawncare practises can make a significant difference to the health of your lawn. We can discuss low impact methods such as topdressing, scarifying and overseeding if required.
Some lawn problems can be resolved with the right fertilisers. We can assess your lawn and apply a recommended treatment if required.
We prefer to avoid the use of weedkillers and pesticides if possible. Sometimes a lawn cannot be improved without the use of a broad leaved weedkiller. We can apply these as required taking the safety of children and pets into account.
Our area includes St Davids, Letterston, Solva, Keeston, Nolton, Broad Haven and Haverfordwest
